Service Unit Day/Twilight Camp

Girl Scout camping is an experience that provides a creative, educational opportunity in group living in the out-of-doors. Its purpose is to utilize the Girl Scout program, trained leadership, and the resources of natural surroundings to contribute to each camper's mental, physical, social, and spiritual growth.

Each of Sybaquay's 23 service units has the opportunity to hold a day or twilight camp that is run by volunteers. These camps give Girl Scouts the chance to experience the out-of-doors while being able to go home at the end of each day/evening. Some camps offer an overnight experience.

Volunteers are always needed and appreciated. There are several levels of commitment and training is provided. For more information contact Pam at 847-741-5521, Ext. 7140.
